Believed to have been a son of Lucian and Mary Elisabeth Woodfork Fletcher, almost nothing is known about Solomon. He is mentioned in a Time Magazine article from 5/25/1936 as one of the four children Lucien and Mary had together, and in court documents from around that same time, he is referred to as "Sampson." However, in a court proceeding from 1919, his sister, Maria Fletcher Turner, testified that her siblings were Sarah and Moses only, and apparently did not mention a Solomon or Sampson as having ever existed. It is believed he may have died in infancy or early childhood.
