Imogene Burge, 91, of Pleasant Hill, IL passed away Friday evening (3-20-15) at the Eastside Health and Rehabilitation Center in Pittsfield.
Imogene was born November 10, 1923 in Pleasant Hill, a daughter of Clay and Minnie Crowder Hoaglin.
She married Ray O. Burge on June 2, 1949 in Bowling Green, MO. Ray died July 20, 2009.
Imogene was a long time employee of the Pleasant Hill Garment Factory. She enjoyed dancing and was an avid reader.
Survivors include a sister, Catherine (husband, Don) Carlton of East Alton and numerous nieces and nephews.
Imogene was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters, Evelyn Sackett and Eloyce Carlton, a brother, Louis Houchins and by an infant brother, Ronald.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday (3-24-15) at 12 noon at the Lummis Funeral Home in Pleasant Hill. Burial will follow at Crescent Heights Cemetery in Pleasant Hill.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Crescent Heights Cemetery Association.
