EVELYN LORENE SACKETT ,79, of Rachel Court White House, Tenn., formerly of Pleasant Hill, died Friday, May 16, 1997 in NHC Healthcare in Springfield, Tenn., where she had been a patient since 1993.
She was born March 26, 1918, a daughter of Louis and Minnie Crowder Houchins.
She married Lacy Sackett, Dec. 2, 1939. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, Richard Ladell Sackett of Henderson, Nev.; one daughter, Kaye Ann Turrentine of Chino, Calif.; one brother, Louis Houchins Jr. of Beardstown; three half-sisters, Imogene Burge of Pleasant Hill, Eloyce Carlton and Catherine Carlton of rural Nebo.
Services were held May 19 at 4 p.m. in Austin and Bell funeral home White House Chapel.
Interment was in White House Memorial Gardens. Attending from here were Imogene Burge of Pleasant Hill, Burdett and Eloyce Carlton, Don and Catherine Carlton of rural Nebo.
