Born Nov 9, 1864, she was the last surviving charter member of the First Free Methodist church here. On Oct 11, 1883 she was married to Mr. Huch and last October they celebrated their 51st. wedding anniversary. Mrs. Huch was a constant and faithful worker in the North Tenth street mission and was instrumental in organizing a church of that denomination in the northern part of the city. Besides her husband, she leaves a twin sister, Mrs. Orinda Jackson, of this city, also four daughters, Mrs. John James, of Oxford; Mrs. O. W. Leach, of Lafayette; Mrs. Walter Virgil, of Frankfort and Mrs. Ida Hartnett, at home; three sons, Fred, Harold and Robert Huch, of Lafayette, also eleven grandchildren and four Great-grandchildren.
Short services will be held Monday afternoon at 1:30 from the residence, followed by a service at 2:30 at the Free Methodist church, South and Jackson streets, Rev. H. E. Perigo officiating. Interment in Spring Vale cemetery.
