Anne E. Clapp, 75, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at Major Hospital.

She was born Dec. 25, 1939, to Francis Flaitz and Dorothy (Hageman) Flaitz in Anderson. She married Troy L. Clapp on April 16, 1973, and he preceded her in death July 12, 2012.
Survivors include four children: Michelle Smith and husband, Scott; Stacy Fallis and husband, Tom; Jana Favors and husband, David; and Troy Clapp II, all of Shelbyville; and granddaughter, Whitley Fallis.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandson, Ethan Clapp; and sister, Mary Layton.
Mrs. Clapp was a lifetime resident of the area. She graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1957.
Mrs. Clapp was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Silver Sneakers Exercise Club.
Anne enjoyed reading, gardening, basket weaving, working word and jigsaw puzzles, sewing and crafting. She loved her family and took special care of them.

Visitation was from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 21, 2015, at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road, Shelbyville, IN 46176.
A memorial service followed at 4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Van Pelt Cemetery in Shelby County.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Shelby County Public Library or Our Hospice of South Central Indiana in care of the funeral home.
