Dorothy H. Flaitz, 91, Shelbyville, died Wednesday at 8:22 p.m. at Major Hospital. Born on Jan. 8, 1902, in Shelbyville, she was a daughter of Henry A. and Hattie(Goodwin)Hageman. A Shelbyville resident for most of her life, Mrs. Flaitz was a homemaker and was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church. On Sept. 7, 1936, she and Francis Flaitz were married. He died on Sept. 1, 1963. Two sisters, a brother and two grandchildren also preceded her in death. Survivors include daughters, Mary Layton and Anne Clapp, both of Shelbyville; four grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. The funeral for Mrs. Flaitz will be on Saturday at 10 a.m. at the St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. John Maung officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Carmony-Ewing Broadway Funeral Home.
