Troy L. Clapp II, 54, passed away Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017, at Miller's Merry Manor in Rushville. Born May 17, 1963, in Shelbyville, he was the son of Troy L. Clapp and Anne E.(Flaitz)Clapp. Survivors include four sisters, Jana(David) Favors, of Shelbyville, Dianna Henzman(fiance, Larry Kuhn), of Shelbyville, Michelle(Scott)Smith, of Shelbyville, and Stacy (Tom)Fallis, of Waldron; brothers, Darrell Platt, and David Wells, both of Shelbyville; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant son, Ethan Clapp; and brother, Mark Harrison. Mr. Clapp was a lifetime resident of this area. He had worked in several different factories in the area, and had been an apprentice electrician. He was also a musician and had played in several local bands. Troy loved playing music, which was his life. He was an animal lover, and a excellent artist, enjoying painting and drawing, working on musical instruments and equipment, and riding his motorcycle. A Celebration of Life will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017, at Amvets Club, 1413 N. Eastern Avenue, Connersville, Indiana 47331. Burial will be at Van Pelt Cemetery in Shelby County. Memorial donations can be made to the Shelbyville/Shelby County Animal Shelter, Cancer Association of Shelby County or Our Hospice of South Central Indiana, in care of the funeral home.
