Hazel Price Gann 96, died peacefully, Friday, March 20, 2015, at Walnut Cove Healthcare Center.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church with Rev. Oscar Zuniga officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Gann was born February 25, 1919, in Stokes County, the fourth of seven children of Chase D. Price and Eva Gunter Price. She was married 53 years to the late Hassel B. Gann with who she co-owned Madison Furniture Company.
Survivors include daughter, Joy Gann Brown (Jim); son, Kenneth M. Gann (Faye); grandchildren, Don Gann (Jean) of Madison, Tami Maria Nieser (Joe) of Kernersville, April Brown (Mark Seitz) of Hillsborough, Alison Brown (Philip McInnis) of Richardson, TX, and Tyler Gann (Christy) of Walnut Cove; great-grandchildren, Shannon Smith (Kevin), Lathan Durner, Alex Metzger, Jospeh Tessmer, John Metzger, James Tessmer, Colton Gann and Wyatt Gann; and great-great-grandchildren, Jacob and Karlie Smith.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, at Colonial Funeral Home.
