Mr. Jerry Mack Barlow, age 72, of Ferguson, died Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. He was born October 25, 1942 in Wilkes County to George Washington and Gladys Fenner Barlow. Mr. Barlow was a member of Lewis Fork Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Rex and Bill Barlow; and sister, Georgia Ann Cox.
Surviving are his wife, Bernice Ann Wolfe Barlow of the home; four sons, Jerry Dwayne Barlow and wife Jackie, Terry Darrell “Plug” Barlow and wife Hope all of Ferguson, Gregory Scott Barlow and wife Grecia of Granite Falls, Joey Brian Barlow and wife Tammy of Lenoir; two brothers, Kenny Barlow of Ferguson, Garland Barlow of Wilkesboro; sister, Jean Church of Wilkesboro; ten grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 o’clock Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Lewis Fork Baptist Church with Rev. Dwayne Andrews, Rev. Jerry Smith and Rev. Sherrill Wellborn officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Lewis Fork Baptist Church from 1:00 until 2:00 o’clock on Sunday, prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted. Miller Funeral Service will be charge of the arrangements.
