BUTTE DES MORTS -- Clarence Benedict, 65, Butte des Morts, died this morning at Mercy Medical Center.
He was born Dec 13, 1905, in Butte des Morts, and lived his entire life there. He married Margaret Shanrock on March 21, 1929.
Surviving are his widow; two daughters, Mrs. Alfred (Betty) Dahl, Cornell, Mich., and Mrs. Dale (Joan) Case, Ojibwa; his mother, Mrs. Mary Benedict, Butte des Morts; two brothers, Bertie and John, both of Butte des Morts; one sister, Mrs. Harold Boche, Appleton, and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Mueller Funeral Home, Winneconne, with the Rev. G. Willard Gray officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Oshkosh.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Sunday.
