Virginia (Gwinn) O'Sullivan, 99, wife of the late John Furman O'Sullivan, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, March 13, 2015.

Born May 31, 1915 in Laurens County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Clarence Edgar 'Ed' Gwinn and Daisy Hughes Gwinn.

She is survived by two daughters, Johnie O. Byars and husband, Billy, of Drayton and Nancie O'Sullivan of Cannons Campground; two sisters, Catherine G. Henderson of Spartanburg and Imogene G. McElrath of Hemingway, SC; special nieces and a dear, special friend, Bobbie McGaha of Spartanburg.

She was predeceased by two brothers and five sisters.

Mrs. O'Sullivan was a member of Drayton United Methodist Church, retired from the Cloth Room at Drayton Mill, and was a private caregiver after retirement.

She was a happy person who loved fishing and enjoyed her home at Lake Greenwood.

Graveside services were 4:00 p.m. Sunday, March 15, 2015 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens officiated by Rev. Imogene G. McElrath.

The family received friends immediately afterwards.

Memorials could be made to the charity of your choice.
