Mr. Robert Lee Ryken, age 73, of Graceville passed away on Janaury 15, 2009, after an extended illness.

Mr. Ryken was born November 5, 1935, in Ottuma, Iowa. After graduation from Peoria High School in 1954, he served in the United States Army, from which he retired. Mr. Ryken was a member of the First Baptist Church of Graceville.

Mr. Ryken was Preceded in death by his parents, John and Jessie Ryken, Pat Ryken, and Christopher LaMartina.

Mr. Ryken is survived by his wife of 52 years, Shirley Ryken; his son, David Ryken; his daughter Becky Crutchfield; his son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Alesia Ryken; six grandchildren, Danielle Dorman, Josh Ryken, Robbie Waldron and his wive, Misty Waldron, Cory Waldron, Summer Ryken, and Savannah Ryken; five greatgrandchildren, Stella Waldron, Brook Waldron, Brianna Dorman, Amanda DOrman, and Elizabeth Dorman.

Funeral Services for Mr. Ryken will be held Saturday, January 17, 2009, at 3PM, at the First Baptist Church of Graceville, with Rev. Tim Folds, Dr. Bud Ware, and Tony Payne, officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery, with Williams Funeral Home of Graceville, Florida directing.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 16, 2009, from 6PM to 8PM at Williams Funeral Home of Graceville.

The family will accept flowers, or in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Graceville Building Fund, 987 8th Avenue, Graceville, FL 32440.
