Gale was born the eldest daughter of the late Loyd Wert Sharp, Sr. and Dorothy Sharp, currently of Montgomery. She is also survived by four siblings, Nancy Martin of Houston and daughter, Amy Goodrum, Gary Sharp of Montgomery, Wert Sharp, Jr. and Linda Cox of Willis. Preceding her in death was her beloved husband, Buel D. Shastid of Conroe. Gale was blessed with a large family of 7 children, Penny Zingery Smith of Houston, Gordon Zingery, Jr. of Houston, Richard Zingery and wife Lisa of TN, Robert Zingery of CA, Melissa Zingery Sager and husband Roger of MO, Melinda Zingery Anderson of Houston and Rene' Baumann Loftin and husband Curt of Conroe; step-sons, Tom Baumann, Jr. of KS and Carl Baumann of WI; 17 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. Gale lived her formative years in Houston, graduated from Lamar High School and attended UT in Austin. Gale also had a life-long love of music, a beautiful singing voice, and an infectious laughter that will remain in our hearts forever. As Gale was especially sympathetic to "Jerry's Kid's", it is requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be given to The Muscular Dystrophy Association.
