Leukemia Claims Life of Young Eaton Woman
Mrs. Dorotha Mendenhall, 31, of 1006 Aukerman Street, Eaton, died at 1:15 a.m. Wednesday, at Grandview Hospital in Dayton. She had been suffering from Leukemia for the past seven months.
Mrs. Mendenhall, wife of Ray Mendenhall, was a member of the Lewisburg E.U.B. church.
Surviving in addition to the husband, Ray, are the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Hutton, rural route, Lewisburg, paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hutton of Dayton and a brother, Leonard Hutton of West Alexandria.
The body has been removed to the Barnes Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery at Lewisburg.
Friends may call at the Barnes Funeral Home from Thursday evening until time of service.

Mrs. Ray Mendenhall Dies Early Wednesday
Mrs. Ray Mendenhall, 31, of Eaton, former resident of Lewisburg, died early Wednesday morning at Grandview hospital, Dayton, where she had been a patient since July 17. Mrs. Mendenhall was the former Dorotha Hutton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Hutton, who reside west of here on the National road. Her death was due to the ravages of acute leukemia.
Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon from the Barnes funeral home in Eaton, with burial to follow in Roselawn cemetery here. Final rites will be in charge of the Rev. Charles C. Mossmer, former Lewisburg E.U.B. pastor, now of Germantown.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Mendenhall is survived by a brother, Leonard of West Alexandria; her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C.W. Hutton of Dayton, and several uncles and aunts who reside in this area.
