Eva Belle, 71 of Del City, passed away August 21, 1986. Mrs. Shaffer was born in Enid OK, November 19, 1914. She came to Del City in 1947. Mrs. Shaffer retired after 44 years as a school teacher at Barnes Elementary and Del City Elementary. She received her BS degree from Central State University. She was a member of the OEA and NEA Classroom Teachers Association; and the Eastern Star Chapter 496 of Del City. Mrs. Shaffer was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints, of Del City. Mrs. Shaffer is survived by her husband, Malvin, of the home; brother, Hart Chapman, Midwest City; 2 sisters, Elizabeth Herde, Wichita Falls TX, and Edna Lucas, San Diego CA; host of nieces and nephews.
