Mrs. Chapman Dies Sunday
Services are pending for Mrs. Mattie Grace Chapman, 203 North N, who died suddenly in her home Sunday.
Mrs. Chapman was to lie in state at her home Wednesday afternoon and all day Thursday.
Mrs. Chapman was born March 29, 1894 at Lindsey. She came to El Reno from Lindsay in 1916 and and she was a member of Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in El Reno.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Malvin L. Shaffer, Del City, Mrs. Arnold Herde, Billings, and Mrs. Woodrow Lucas, 923 South Wilson; one son, Hart H. Chapman, San Diego, Calif.; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be announced by Benson funeral home.
