Frances George (Dodie) Hooe was a teacher in the Dallas (Texas) school system, principal of Sam Houston Elementary in 1918 and at the time of her retirement in 1953 was supervisor of the primary grades. She later resided in La Jolla, California, and was estranged from family. She died at Fredericka Convalescent Hospital, Chula Vista, California, was cremated and buried at Mount Hope Cemetery, as self-arranged.
