William L. "Bill" Foran, 81 OCEANSIDE -- William L. Foran, 81, passed away Friday, May 2, 2008. He was born April 18, 1927, in Idaho. Bill graduated from Point Loma High School in San Diego. He earned B.S. and M.A. degrees from California State University in San Diego and a Ph.D. from U.S.I.U. He was an Educator: teacher, counselor and coach at Oceanside High School from 1951 to 1965 and Vice President, Student Personnel Services, at Mira Costa College from 1965 to 1987. Bill was a member of the Kiwanis Club of Oceanside Pacific and of St. Anne's Anglican Church. He is survived by his wife, Nancy; daughters, Debbie Statezni, Katherine Brick and Dyana Sylvester; sister, Barbara Foran Henthorn; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 14, at St. Anne's Anglican Church, 701 West Street in Oceanside.
