Mrs. Ebersold Died Enroute to St. Paul
While on her way to St. Paul on train No. 4 last Saturday, Mrs. Rudolph T. Ebersold passed away just as the train was pulling into Minot, death being due to general breakdown of the nervous system which resulted from influenza. Mrs. Ebersold's condition had been considered serious for several weeks and she was being removed to a hospital in St. Paul when death eliminated the necessity of proceeding further on the journey. The deceased was accompanied by Mr. Ebersold and Miss Emma Gaetzke. After death occurred the route was changed and the remains shipped to the old home at Groton, S. Dak., where the funeral was held on Wednesday.
The deceased had been a resident of this vicinity about six years and is survived by a husband and three children, two of the children having preceded their mother in death about two months ago, due to influenza.
Mr. Ebersold has the sincere sympathy of the community in his ill fortune, his having lost half the members of his family in a period of about two months. -- Hinsdale Tribune
