LAFAYETTE, AL -- Oscar Thomas Bone of Route #3 LaFayette died Tuesday, 27 Feb 1973 at the Lanier Memorial Hospital in Valley, AL. He was 73.

Mr. Bone was a native of Tallapoosa County, AL and a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church. He was the son of the late James Samuel Bone and the late Emma Little Bone. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wives, Janie Lou Bailey Bone and Thelma Estelle Sanders Bone and two sons, Infant Son Bone and Eugene Russell Bone; brothers, Elbert Bone, William Ervin Bone, James H. Bone, Woodie Elvin Bone; and sisters Ola Bone Mullins and Flossie Lue Bone Patty.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Ethel Mae Phillips of LaFayette, AL, Mrs. Mary Magdalene Powell of Opelika, AL and Mrs. Gracie Cora Wooddy of LaFayette, AL; three sons, Arthur Edgar Bone of Fairfax, AL, William Laverne "Bill" Bone of Opelika, AL and Louis Franklin Bone of Shawmut, AL; brothers, Woodrow Wilson Johnson of Prattville, AL, Joe Elijah Bone, James Barney Bone, Rankin Lester Bone, Alvin Thomas Bone; sisters, Mrs. Nora Lee Johnson Neeley of Montgomery, AL, Phila Belle Bone Jones, Nancy Elizabeth Bone Hubbard; 15 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 3 p.m. (EST) Thursday, 29 Feb 1973 from Johnson-Sanders Chapel with Revs John Kirby and Charles Watkins officiating. Interment will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Huguley, AL.

LAFAYETTE, AL -- Oscar Thomas Bone of Route #3 LaFayette died Tuesday, 27 Feb 1973 at the Lanier Memorial Hospital in Valley, AL. He was 73.
