Bill was a longtime Wesley, OK resident. He was born on June 5, 1928 to Noah and Laura Ethel (Dobyns) Ellison in the Union Chapel Community. He attended and graduated from Pittsburg High School. He worked as a rancher and commercial plumber. He married Pauline (Dyer) Myers on May 24, 2001 in Atoka, OK. He loved ranching and taking care of his cattle, squirrel hunting, fishing and gardening. He was a member of Pittsburg Baptist Church. He passed away Jan. 31, 2015 in Tulsa, OK. Bill is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Elbert Ellison; sister, Barbara Daniels; step sons, J. C. and Teddy Myers; and step daughter in law, Kathy Myers. Services will be Feb. 5, 2015 at 2 p.m. at the Pittsburg Baptist Church in Pittsburg, OK. Rev. Kenny Morrow will officiate. Interment will be at Pittsburg Cemetery in Pittsburg, OK.
