She was a homemaker and a member of Seven Oaks Baptist Church.
She was survived by her mother, Mary (Riley) Merritt; her husband, Odos Green Thompson (married October 10, 1945 in Somerset, Kentucky); her sons, Odis "D.C." Thompson of Noblesville, Indiana and Windle Thompson of Somerset, Kentucky; her daughters, Beulah Goodin of Somerset, Kentucky and Hattie Owens of Somerset, Kentucky; her brothers, Ray Merritt, Cecil Merritt, and Lee Merritt, all of Somerset, Kentucky, and Jessie D. Merritt of Hardinsburg; 16 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Olvin Merritt; her son, Freddie Thompson; and her daughters, Wanda Jean Thompson and Ollie D. Ann Thompson.
Funeral services were held at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Reverend Marvin Clay and Reverend Wayne Rose officiating.
