Lysander – Feb. 18. – After a brief illness, James Baird died on Wednesday, February 12, 1908, in the ninety-second year of his age.

The deceased was the son of Capt. William Baird, one of the pioneer to this town and the last one of a family of thirteen children. His funeral was attended at his late home with his daughter, Mrs. Lizzie Perine, on Saturday, the Rev. E. D. Disbrow officiating. Burial was made in Lysander cemetery.
