Estell Shaw, 88, of Delphi passed away on Jan. 27, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Delphi.
Estell was born on April 6, 1926 in Clay County, Tennessee to the late Herman M. and Bertha Alice (Cain) Spear.
Estell married Arthur T. Shaw on July 17, 1943 in Tompkinsville, KY. He preceded her on Oct. 26, 2003.
Estell cleaned homes in the Carroll County area for several years. She was a long time member of the Delphi Church of Christ.
Estell enjoyed going to garage sales, quilting and flower gardening.
She is survived by her children: Nina Jerlene Kibler of Delphi, Loy Shaw (Karen) of Hartford City, Leland Dale Shaw of Linden, Larry Shaw (Brenda) of Bradenton, FL, Shirley Kathlene Moore of Lafayette, Darlene Spencer (Stan) of Flora; Siblings, Mrs. Wendy Murphy of Palm Desert, CA, Mrs. Doyle Logan of Aurora, IL, Nina Crace of Brookston, Shirley Weaver of Sun Lakes, AZ; 22 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren, 16 great great grandchildren.
Along with her husband, she was preceded by sons: Roy and Randall Shaw; grandson, Kurt, granddaughter, Kimberly; brothers: Rester “Dusty”, Wayford “Sandy” and Floyd Spear; and sister: Inease “Bonnie” Cain.
Visitation will be from noon to the 3:00 p.m. service on Thursday, Jan. 29, 2015 at Davidson Funeral Home in Delphi. Jeff Kibler will officiate. Burial will be in I.O.O.F. Memorial Gardens at Pittsburg, IN.
