Reed, Ruth L., 88, of Paden City died Monday, December 29, 2008 at Sistersville Center. Ruth was born June 2, 1920 in Paden City, WV the daughter of the late George E. and Agnes Furbee Turner. She was a homemaker and a member of the Paden City Church of Christ. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister. Surviving are her husband, Clay Reed to whom she was married for sixty-nine and a half years; son; daughter; brother Gordon Turner and his wife; sister; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Friends received 3-8 p.m., Thursday, January 1, 2009 Jarvis Funeral Home, Paden City where services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 2, 2009 with Morris Hafley officiating.
