MONTPELIER--G. Bruce Turner, 74, 614 W. Huntington St., died Sunday at his home.
Mr. Turner was born in West Virginia and retired from Cleveland City Forge in Cleveland, Ohio. He was a member of Montpelier First Church of the Nazarene and the Cuyahoga County Civil War Society Round Table in Ohio.
Survivors include his wife, Vera Palmer Turner; three sisters, Ruth Reed (husband: Clay), Ruby Pryor (husband: Claire) and Sara Buckingham (husband: Bill); two brothers, Gordon Turner (wife: Jean) and Gary Turner (wife: Sally); two stepdaughters, Ann Finnerty (husband: Michael) and Dorothy Sparks; two stepsons, Gary Palmer (wife: Clara) and Randy Palmer (wife: Ellen); a son-in-law, Paul Schriver; three grandchildren and six stepgrandchildren.
His first wife, Minnie Etta Carroll turner, died in 1994. A daughter and a brother are also deceased.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Glancy Funeral Homes Walker Chapel. Burial will be in Historic Woodlawn Cemetery.
Calling will be 3-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
