Age 85, passed away Monday, March 25, 2013 at home. He was born January 2, 1928 in Paden City, WV, the son of George and Agnes (Furbee) Turner. He served honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. On July 23, 1951, he married Jean Hudson and she survives. Mr. Turner was employed by Ford Motor Company, Body and Assembly Division for 27 years, retiring in 1988. He was also the former minister at Ridge Road Church of Christ for 17 years. In addition to his loving wife of 61 years, survivors include: two daughters, Kristina McKinney of Ypsilanti and Jan (Mike) Porter of Allen Park, MI; two sons, Byron (Tracey) Turner of Farmington Hills, MI and Brad (Anne Marie) Turner of Brighton, MI; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one sister, Sarah Buckingham of Portland, OR and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son in infancy, three brothers and three sisters.
