Betty Charlotte Johnson, 77, of Peoria died Friday, Nov. 24, 2006, at her residence.
She was born Feb. 26, 1929, in Peoria to Frederick and Theresa Shreffler. She married Oscar Clinton Johnson Sr. on Feb. 26, 1946, in Peoria. He preceded her in death on May 4, 1985, in Peoria.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
Surviving are four sons and three daughters, Shirley Price of Peoria, John W. Sr. (Elaine) Johnson of Peoria, Betty Lou Poirer of Indiana, Donna (Jerry) Thompson of Pekin, Oscar Clinton Jr. (Joyce) Johnson of Peoria, Jerry Lee Johnson of Canton and Kenneth W. (Michelle) Johnson of Peoria; two sisters, Helen Sturgis and Shirley (Marceau) Descamps, both of Peoria; and two brothers, Jim Shreffler of Bryant, Ill., and Jack Shreffler of Arizona.
She was a homemaker.
Private burial will be in Springdale Cemetery.
