Mrs. Charlotte Ralston was born in Randolph county, Missouri Dec. 12, 1827; died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Addie Owen, Macon county, Mo., Nov. 24, 1913. She was married to Isaac T. Ralston in the year 1848. To this union six children were born, all of whom survive her, excepting one daughter, Mrs. Mary F. McMillan. She and her husband became residents of Macon county in the yer 1854, in which county they continued to live until death.

The children who survive her are as follows: Mrs. Allie Newby, of San Diego, California; Mrs. Lou Chinn, of Weiser, Idaho; Mrs. Maggie Davis, of Hoyt, Colorado; Mrs. Addie Owen, of Macon, Mo.; Mr. James T. Ralston, of Wheeling, Mo. She leaves the above named children, also 18 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

The remains were lovingly and tenderly laid to rest in Oakwood cemetery.
