PLATTEVILLE — Funeral services for John Brogley, 73, Route Platteville, who died Tuesday at his home will be held Friday at 3 p. m. in the Thomas funeral home.
The Rev. Irvin Lennox, Moline, Ill., will officiate. The body will be placed In the Greenwood mausoleum and burial will be in the Whig cemetery next spring.
Born in Harrison township, Mr. Brogley was a lifelong resident of the Platteville area. He was a blacksmith by trade.
Survivors Include his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Casper Ohert, Mrs. Allen Crowther, and Mrs. Fred Cordes, all of Platteville; two sons, Maynard, Madison, and Lyle, Moline, Ill.; three sisters, Mrs, George Utt and Mrs. Evelyn Clark, both of Seattle, Wash., and Mrs. Harvey Cushman, Lancaster; a brother, Art, Lancaster; nine grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren
