Allen See, age 70, of Kaukauna, formerly of Appleton, passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2015. He was born on November 9, 1944 in Chilton, to the late Edward and Loretta (Buechel) See. On May 30, 1965, Al married Bonnie Kalies in Wayside, Wisconsin. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. Al was a farm boy at heart. He grew up on the family farm and was always ready to give a helping hand to others. Al retired in June of 1995 after 26 years of employment at Brillion Iron Works. He loved spending time with the family, especially with the grandchildren and attending their sporting events. Al enjoyed cars and meticulously detailing them. He was a very social person and enjoyed talking to people wherever he went.Allen is survived by his daughters: Kim (Chuck) Lieffring of Appleton and Darcey (Chad) Krowas of Kimberly; four grandchildren: Christian Lieffring; Ciara, Dayton, and Pierce Krowas; siblings: Julitta Hegewald of Hilbert; Sy (Judy) See of Hilbert; and Melvin (Carol) See of Chilton. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Al was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie See; brother Tony See; sister-in-law Mary Ann See; brother-in-law Elroy Hegewald; and nephew Steve See.The funeral service for Allen will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, January 12, 2015 at FAITH LUTHERAN CHURCH, 601 E. Glendale Avenue in Appleton. Rev. Daniel Thews will be officiating. Entombment will take place at Riverside Cemetery.
