Riggs, Donna M. (Higgins), age 77, of Trenton, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Hillspring Nursing Home. She was born July 3, 1937 in Middletown, OH to Oscar and Ethel (Bauers) Higgins. She was a homemaker. Donna was a member of Freedom House Church of God and was devoted to her family, friends and church. Donna is survived by her daughter, Mary (Terry Carter) Wooldridge of Middletown; grandchildren, Jennifer Layburn, Jeffery Wooldridge, Timothy Riggs and Rachel Hutton; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Judith Stewart of Middletown; daughter-in-law, Janie Riggs of Midway, OH; sister-in-law, June Higgins of Carlisle and many beloved nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald G. Riggs Sr; sons, Donald Gene Riggs Jr., William Riggs; brother, Oscar B. Higgins Jr.; sisters, Marion E, Ingram and Marjorie Nickell. Visitation will be held Friday, January 9, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 10:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor Larry Fultz officiating. Interment will be at Elk Creek Cemetery.
