Cozett was born on December 19, 1913 to Charley and Pope Startz in San Saba, Texas. She married George M. Tyler in Goldthwaite on October 24, 1931. Together they had 3 children.
Cozett enjoyed her walks, oil painting, reading, scrabble and loved to garden.

Visitation will be held at held at Heritage Funeral Home on January 4, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. with Services to follow at 2:00 p.m at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will follow at Wallace Creek Cemetery.
