Mrs. Opal Talley

Sweetwater - Mrs. Opal B. Talley, 64, died at 7:15 a.m. Sunday in the Holiday Retirement Center after a long illness.

Funeral will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the Cate-Spencer Chapel with the Rev. Orvel Brantley, pastor of Lamar Street Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Sweetwater Cemetery.

Mrs. Talley was born Aug. 31, 1907 in Tarrant County.

She had been a resident of Sweetwater since 1945.

Her husband, James W. Talley, died in 1955.

Survivors are one son, Don Dorsey of Sweetwater; four brothers, Arthur Glass of Sweetwater, Roy Glass of Seymour, George Glass of Big Spring and Amos Glass of Fort Worth; and two grandchildren.
