Mrs. Byars was a native of Latham, Tenn.

Surviving are her husband, Willie Theodore Byars; two daughters, Linda Masterson and Willa Powell; two brothers, Howard and William Hawks; four granddaughters; five great-grandchildren; four half sisters; and three half brothers.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, two brothers and one half brother. Her parents were Roy and Ellen Smith Hawks.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. Jerry Byars officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
