Lucy Ann PHILPOTT 1822 – 1857
*** Siblings ****
Samuel J HUNTER 1845 – 1937
Ardell HUNTER 1848 – 1857
** Family LEGEND: According to a descendant of Samuel, Horace Hunter, Samuel and his Dad Andrew were the survivors in the family, of an epidemic that struck Cumberland Co in 1857. Lucy Ann, Ariana J and Ardell all died. Samuel stayed behind to be raised with family when his father went west.
According to Dr Hunter's will, 1894, money was left to all his surviving children, Samuel, Mary, Davis, Lizzie, Sallie, AND his grandson: Alva Tealey, son of his deceased daughter. He was the only grandchild to receive money. As of today 12/8/2020, I have found no more information.
