DANIEL R. STARTZMAN died at 7:30 o'clock Sunday evening at his home, 581 W. Washington St., from a complication of troubles. He was aged 50 years. His health had been failing for a year.
Mr. Startman was a son of the late Martin Startman, of Halfway, who died a few months ago. He followed farming, but moved to Hagerstown about 20 years ago. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.
His wife and the following children survive: R. Newton Startzman, Charles C., Laura V., Susan, Max W., Mary E., Clara and Paul, all of town; George W. Martin and James Startzman, Mrs. Jacob Eckstine and Mrs. Ellen Saum.
