C.F. Sanford Dies 1941
We are sorry to learn as we go to press of the death of C.F. Sanford; who passed away at his home Wednesday night. He was 84 years of age and had lived in the same place south of Hedley for over 30 years.
Funeral services are being held today (Thursday) at the Methodist Church here by Rev. I.E. Biggs. Interment will be in Lakeview cemetery under direction of Womack funeral home.
He is survived by seven children, Mrs. Will Crow (Roberta) of Abernathy, Ovie Sanford of Plainview, Mrs Ansil Williams (Ruth) of Littlefield, Raymond Sanford and Mrs Bill Tarter (Mattie Rena) of Amarillo, Bob Sanford of Pampa, and Mrs Roy Blanks (Ruby Mae) of Hedley.
His wife preceeded him in death in 1908. The Informer extends sincere sympathy to the bereaved.
