ABERNATHY (Special) - Services for Roberta Ann Crow, 97, of Abernathy will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dennis Teeters, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Abernathy Cemetery under direction of Chambers Funeral Home.
Mrs. Crow died at noon Wednesday in Lubbock Hospitality House after a brief illness.
She was born in Italy, Texas, and moved to Abernathy in 1913. She was a switchboard operator for the Abernathy Telephone Co. in 1919. She married W.H. Crow in 1908 in Hall County; he died in 1956. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church of Odessa.
Survivors include two sons, Ed of Abernathy and Robert of Granite Shoals; two daughters, Willyne Norman of Floydada and Vivian Brown of Lubbock; a sister, Ruth Robnett of Dallas; a brother, Robert Sanford of Pampa; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
