Mary Alice Deer Miley 94, widow of the late Charles John Miley, Jr. died Wednesday March 19, 2014. Mrs. Miley was a native of Fairfax, S.C. a daughter of the late Otis B. and Viola Weekly Deer. She was a homemaker; a member of Brunson United Methodist Church, a member of the Brunson Evergreen Garden Club, and a member of the Brunson Civic Council.
Graveside service was held Saturday March 22, 2014 in Brunson Cemetery with Rev. Joseph Williams officiating. Survivors include three sons Charles John "Johnny" Miley (Janet) Robert Eugene Miley (Margaret) and William "Billy" Martin Miley (Rae) one daughter Beverly Miley Allen 11 grandchildren Jay Miley (Dana) Christy Murdaugh (Randy) Gina Altman (Keith) Jodie Stamp (Scott) Jennifer Pitman (Spike) Melanie Dietterick (Scott) Marty Miley (Sheila) Michelle Young, Hud Miley (Leslie) Chip Allen (Karen) Michael Allen (Julie) 26 great grandchildren one brother Vic Deer (Eula Lee). She was predeceased by one brother Otis Deer and one sister Lois D. Smith.
