Funeral for Alice F. Frank of Hills. born will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Donelson, Sewell and Mathews Mortuary in Hillsboro. She died Tuesday In a Hillsboro care center. She was 82.
Mrs. Frank was born in Brush Prairie. Wash., and her family moved to Corbett in 1905. She later moved to Sand Lake and Salem, and in 1921 she moved to Vancouver, Wash., to go to school. She continued her education at the University of Oregon.
Mrs. Frank taught school in Molalla and at Cloverdale High School and was the principal at Nehalem High School. She was a member of the Hillsboro Grange, Hillsboro First Baptist Church and the Hillsboro Order of the Eastern Star Chapter No. 31.
Mrs. Frank lived in Hillsboro 18 years.
Surviving are her brothers. Elmer and Russell Carter, both of Hillsboro, and Milo Carter of Lincoln City; and a sister, Dean Bowen of Yamhll.
Vault interment will be in Fir Lawn Cemetery in Hillsboro.
