Freda M. (Ward) Ackerman Klika, 70, of N. 8th St., Martins Ferry, OH died Sun., July 25, 1999 at Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV. She was born Sept.21, 1928 in Blaine, a daughter of the late Ora G. and Gladys (Hein) Ward.
She was a member of the Trinity Assembly of God, Martins Ferry.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Forrest R. Ackerman. Surviving are her husband John Klika, four sons, Forrest R. "Butch" Ackerman, Charles "Randy" Ackerman, Rick L. Ackerman,and Terry R. Ackerman all of Martins Ferry, two daughters Mrs. Leonard(Peggy) Smith and Sandra J. Klika both of Martins Ferry,three brothers George and Ernest Ward both of Martins Ferry,and Robert Gray of Mesa, AZ, one sister Martha Andrews ofTriadelphia, WV, thriteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Friends will be recieved Mon. 7-9 PM and Tues. 2-4 PM & 7-9 pm at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Wed. at 10:00 AM with Pastor Carl S. Wiman, Sr. officiating. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry.
