Mary Ann Dreiling, 81, Colorado Springs, Colo., formerly of Hays, died Sunday, Aug. 6, 2006, at Mediallan Health Care Center, Colorado Springs. She was born April 13, 1925, in Hays to Michael and Anna (Weaver) Augustine.

She married Linus Dreiling in May of 1945 in Hays. He preceded her in death on March 6, 1968.

She was employed as a surgical technician at St. Anthony's Hospital, Hays until 1968, when she moved to Olathe. She retired from King Radio, Olathe, in 1978, and moved to Florissant, Colo., in 2002.

Survivors include two daughters, Judy Kay Dreiling and husband, Leon, Florissant; Marilyn Marie Roberts and husband, Steven, Overland Park; four brothers, Harold "Gus" Augustine and wife, Vera, Wayne Augustine and wife, Ann, and Kenneth Augustine and wife, Barbara, all of Hays, and Michael Augustine and wife, Mary, Shawnee; four sisters, Virginia "Jeannie" Pfeifer and husband, George, Omaha, Neb., Valerie Ader, Morris, Ill., Velma Horner, Arizona, and Elizabeth "Betty" Flaherty and husband, Charles, Joshua, Texas; and three grandchildren, Tina Dreiling, Arvada, Colo., Jason Roberts, Overland Park, and Todd Dreiling and wife, Judy Lynn, Woodland Park, Colo.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers, Dick Augustine and Dale Augustine; and a sister, Marjorie Augustine.

Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church; inurnment at St. Joseph Cemetery, Hays. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Cline's Mortuary of Hays, 1919 E. 22nd, with family present. A vigil service will be at 6:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested for Masses.
