Linus Dreiling, 45, Rt. 1, Hays, died this morning in Hadley Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient eight weeks.

For the past four years he had worked as a maintenance man with the State Highway Department. He was employed previously with Service Pipe Line Co. for 18 years.

Survivors include his widow, Mary Ann, of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Leon (Judy) Dreiling of Olathe, Kan., and Marilyn Marie Dreiling of the home; two brothers, Alvinus of Wichita and Virgil of New Orleans, La.; two sisters, Mrs. Morris Kenter of Harrisonville, Mo., and Mrs. Earl Lancaster of Wichita.

Dreiling was preceded in death by 3 brothers.

He was married May 4, 1946 in Hays to the former Mary Ann Augustine.

He was a veteran of World War II. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph's cemetery. Military graveside services are planned. The body will lie in state at Brock's North Hill Chapel from 7:30 tonight until the hour of the service.
