Hays -- Dick Augustine, 57, died Oct. 6, 1989, at St. Anthony's Hospital, Hays.

Born Feb. 8, 1932, at Hays, he married Wilma Schmidt Aug. 10, 1957, at Catherine.

Owner of the R and A Electrical Co., Hays, he was a lifetime resident of Hays. He was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, the American Legion, and Veterans of Foriegn Wars, all of Hays.

Survivors: wife, of the home; son, Richard, Hays; brothers, Harold, Kenneth, both of Hays, Wayne, Topeka, Michael, Mission; sisters, Mary Ann Dreiling, Olathe, Virginia Pfeifer, Omaha, Neb., Velma Harned, Phoenix, Betty Flanary, Joshua, Texas, Valeria
Ader, Morris, Ill.; and one grandson.

Funeral will be 10 a.m. today at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Father Greg Beyer. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Memorials may go to St. Anthony's Hospital.
