Mr. Glenwood "Buddy" Luke, 80 of Nashville passed away Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Tift Regional Medical Center. Mr. Luke was born April 4, 1934 to the late Pearlie & Rosa Lee Jowers Luke. He retired from Union Camp and attended Beulah Holiness Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Sara Luke of Nashville; one son, Alan Glenn Luke of Boise, ID; two daughters, Kathy Darlene Luke of Tifton, and Nana Kareen Whitley of Tifton; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two sisters, Bobbie McGrady of Alapaha, and Barbara Rose of Tifton.
Mr. Luke was preceded in death by one brother, Winston Luke and three sisters, Alsteen "Sis" Swails, Etheel Dean, and Lois Swails.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Beulah Holiness Baptist Church with Rev. Jonathan Walker & Rev. Donnie Sloan officiating. Interment will follow at St. Luke Cemetery in Berrien Co. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
