Winston Luke, 71, of Tifton died Sunday, January 29, 2012, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 1, 2012, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Dr. D Ray will officiate with burial to follow in Saint Luke Cemetery in Alapaha.
Mr. Luke was born on May 27, 1940 in Berrien County and was the son of Pearlie Luke and Rosia Lee Jowers Luke, both deceased. He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Peggy Sue Luke Webb; and two sisters, Ethell Dean and Lois Swails. He was a retired truck driver; an avid bowler and was a member of the United States Bowling Congress. He was also an avid fisherman and loved old country music and loved his Jack Russell terrier, Sassy.
