Obituary:
Emil O. Baumgartner, 90,of 5415 S. Hanna Street, Fort Wayne, a native of Adams county, died at 3 p.m. Saturday in St. Joseph’s hospital, where he had been a patient five weeks.

He was born in Adams county Oct. 9, 1883, and lived in Fort Wayne 41 years. Mr. Baumgartner retired 13 years ago as a brick mason. He was the son of Emil and Lena Moser-Baumgartner.

Surviving are his wife, Minnie A.; a daughter, Mrs. Charles Masel, Fort Wayne; two sons, Harry E. and Charles N., both of Fort Wayne; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Mertz, Fort Wayne, and Mrs. Lydia Thompson, Sacramento, Calif.; and a half-brother, Edwin of Sebastopol, Calif.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the C. M. Sloan & Sons funeral home, Fort Wayne, with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.

Mr. Baumgartner was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Fort Wayne.
