FLORENCE I. MASEL, 94, of Fort Wayne, died Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2007, at Lutheran Home.
Born Nov. 25, 1912, in Decatur, she was the daughter of the late Emil and Minnie (Russell) Bumgartner. She was a homemaker and member of Woman's Guild, volunteered for childcare at her church. and was a member of Order of the Eastern Star 432.
Surviving are her husband, Charles W. Masel; daughter, Donna Marlene (Vernon) Smith of Lake Placid, Fla. and Lisbeth (Steven) Noyes of Clearwater, Fla.; and foster son, Michael Nitsche of Venice, Fla.
Memorial service is 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 3, 2007 at Grace St. John's United Church of Christ, 4120 S. Webster St., Fort Wayne. Committal service is 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 23, 2007, at Greenlawn Memorial Park Chapel, with visitation one hour prior to service. Arrangements by C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 Wells St.
