STRANG, Okla. - Nola Johnson Reep, 86 of Strang passed away Thursday, February 24, 2005 at St. John's Hospital in Tulsa.
Nola was born on November 4, 1918 in Laurel Pope, Ark. to Nova and Rebecca (Wells) Johnson. She married Clarence A. Reep on March 26, 1944 in Newton, Kan. They resided in Kansas for 33 years. She retired from General Electric Corporation and moved back to Oklahoma in 1977 where she resided.
Nola was a long standing member of Jay Bible Church. She was very active in church work and activities. She taught Sunday school to the children for many years. Some of the Sunday school students kept in contact with her through the years. She served a s Treasurer and accountant for the church many years. She loved family, friends and the church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clarence; brother, Willie D. Johnson; two nephews, James Johnson and Robert B. Mardis.
Survivors include: two sisters, Opal N. Jones, and C. Irene Mardis; two nephews, Joseph C. Gooch, James T. Mardis Jr.; four nieces, Jeanne Brewer, Joyce Bennett, Patti Shrader, Sandra Buller and numerous great nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 26, 2005 at Turner Funeral Chapel in Langley, Okla. Burial is to follow at Spavinaw-Strang Cemetery.
